Wrong medication? or wrong diagnosis?

I just went to the Zoloft website to see if there was anything there about the burning/dry eyes problem I am having. But then I noticed a chart showing all the disorders zoloft is approved for, it was supposed to prove

Uh oh, Heather! Do I have to come over there??? LOL We all can get way too much info reading the websites. I throw those drug inserts out ASAP when I pick up my scripts or I'll be a basketcase.
Zoloft is a good drug for anxiety/depression. I'm not suggesting that it doesn't mean anything if a drug is or isn't approved for a certain condition or not. I know from personal experience that zoloft works for many folks here with anxiety. Your dr. & *T* know that as well. Look @ how many folks have posted about being on wellbutrin. It clearly is NOT for anxiety. But, it works for them. Everyone is affected differently by the meds. I vote that you stick with the med. Don't fret too much about it until you can talk with your dr. & *T.* I would give it a chance before I tried something else. The side effects are pretty much universal. (Check out the Explore iV & H&WB folder below for a new article I posted yesterday.) Just as you're putting your trust in the diagnosis, I would do the same with the zoloft. JMO, of course. Good luck! (((hugs))) jan
You are right. I try not to pay attention to that information myself. But I am wierded out about this problem I am having with my eyes. They burn and are tired and are bloodshot, it's not something I normally experience. Especially since I've had more than enough sleep! lol
But I probably did let myself get too sucked into worrying about the specifics about all of that stuff, huh? I know I need to give it time. But I will probably still try and bring it up at my session tonight.
Thanks for keeping me grounded. ;)
I appreciate you saying I helped keep you grounded, Heather. Sheri Ann & I are fighting some sort of something that involves sore throats, swollen glands, various aches & pains. My dr. says it's allergies. All I know is that if I didn't have this board to come to, I would have lost it a couple weeks ago. Any strange sensations or feelings is enough to have me diagnosing a darn good dose of something rare and/or fatal. So, thank you!
If you can, stop in after your *T* visit to chat. (((hugs))) jan
(((Heather))) Zoloft was the first med I was prescribed for my anxiety & panic.
