I'm back in town - and I just wanted to let you all (the ones that knew I was going ) know that my business trip went very well!

I was a ball of nerves and took a xanax before going into the building in the mornings but I did good and my ideas and approaches were well received... it was great to finally get some positive feedback - or feedback at all...

but I wanted to pop in and say that it went well for those of you that were probably wondering! :)

Effexor is still going well - i'm still at the 150 mg and I have an appt with the psychiatrist on tuesday. I'm wondering if it's normal to increase the dosage from 150 to a higher dosage..

I know it's working for me - I 'm wondering if increasing it again will make it work any better...

we'll see...

love ya!

Hi Valerie,
I don't rember me I am lynn I am glad thing went well and if the effexor 150 is working than why increase, but I too have been wondering the same thing at times, I also take 150 mg of it. I am sure we will get feedback but also there is the med board I am not sure of the link but jan and Sherri Ann have it. Glad you are back and you were missed.

Hey Valerie!

Glad to hear that your business trip went well. You sound like other stuff must be going well too!

I'm at the 150 of Effexor right now as well...I've been there about 3 weeks. Let us know what your doc says about the increase. The highest dose I've heard of is 225mg, but I've also heard that during drug testing they went up to 300. So, who knows? Good luck!

Nice to see you, Valerie. Glad to hear that things went well. I was on 225mg. of effexor. That must be the high end of dosing because the cl of another board is on that, too. It isn't unusual to need your meds tweaked from time to time. Let us know what you & your pdoc decide. Good luck! (((hugs))) jan
