You are doing the best you can, Heather. The med situation is unavoidable @ this point. Even if you wanted, you could not stop taking the paxil cold turkey. Possibly you would experience withdrawal symptoms that would be more dangerous to the baby. My point in reminding you of this, is that until recently paxil was viewed as no different than any of the AD's & many women took it. The risk of harm to the baby is very slight. You need to get the focus OFF the meds. Let these burdensome thoughts go. Allow yourself to drift free. Hopefully the zyprexa will aid in getting the rest you need. Focus on that 5% reduction in your anxiety. It is a good start. Continue to do the journaling & listening to the relaxation tapes. Here is near where I live:

Heather,

I know it's been awile since you posted but I wanted to let you know that we're still thinking about you!

Concern about the meds is understandable...but contrast the slight risk involved with nine months of feeling like you have been. Don't beat yourself up over it. It sounds like in your heart you've made the best decision for you and your family.

I hope your anxiety is starting to lessen. I had a really bad episode like you are having about two months back. I have never been so scared in my life. You are not alone, you are not crazy, you are not a bad person for wishing there was another way to stop how you are feeling.

Day by day, things should get a little bit better. After my episode, I started keeping a journal about my anxiety. It really helped me to see the baby steps I was making. I week after I started I read my first entry and couldn't believe the change. I didn't feel like I'd progressed much but I really had.

Hang in there, you will make it!
