Nice going, Sheri Ann. I did some cleaning yesterday morning. I intended to visit my gf & see her new place, but her dh is sick & was admitted to the hospital): Chauffeured my brood around in the afternoon. Spent the night alone as Meg went to gramma's & Jas stayed with her gf. Got some reading & letter writing finished. I sat outside & visited with my neighbor after her dh went to his

Wow Sheri Ann,is your dd any better now.Thats awful and scary.I would have been flipping out.

Thats great that your going out more. Now you can come see me;)

I think I pretty much summed up my weekend already.Today was a great day.Me and Dave did lots of yard work.He walked down to my moms to plant a tree for her while I put weed killer on those stupid dandelions.Out of no where I looked up and their was a momma duck with 12 little babies following behind. They all hunkered down in my tulips. As Dave and Audrey were walking back, the momma duck was trying frantically to get threw the fence, along the back of my yard.I lifted the fence, and away they went. Now, I have worried sick about all those little ducks.Did I do the right thing, what if they never find their nest, what if she wants back over.We have a large pond here in the community with lots of ducks,I wish I would have just walked them to the pond. But she wanted under that fence so bad.I know I am going on and on about this, but I am worried about them.If I had everything my way,I would have 13 ducks running threw my house.

Dave made dinner today,I like to let him think he knows how to cook.LOL,mastacholli*,garlic bread, and a salad. It was actually very good.

I had a very busy yet productive weekend. Friday Mel worked me like an old mule. We mucked two horse stalls and put woodshavings in them. We got rid of three chickens, so we changed the chicken house around, so they were in the back and we had a good sized pen for the puppies. Sat. she only worked me like an old dog. We hauled in lots of water so I won't be without any while she's gone. And here it is Sunday..........we filled the van and cleaned out the inside removing all but the drivers seat. She's planning on bringing back what she can. I then cleaned the inside and outside windows. And I finished my weekend with going to a small country church with my best friend and her family. Not sure what day Mel is going but i hope it's soon, just to get it over with, she's stressing me to death............UGH...........I know she's stressed also but help. LOL

He did have a heart attack, Sheri Ann. If they can get him stable, he'll be moved to Erie for a heart cath. Right now he's having blood transfusions. On the 4th unit as I type. He has alot of heart & lung problems & is on tons of meds. Will keep you posted. Thx for asking. It means alot. jan

Send Dave to my house, ASAP! He must think you're a queen, Jeanie to treat you like that. I love the duck story. I am a great animal lover too. I sometimes worry I forgot to put dry food in the cat's dish for the night & have to get out of bed & check. You would laugh your butt off if you saw the 3 porkers I have. LOL They could afford to miss many meals:)

I saw in the other thread that you had a so-so family gathering. Sounds like what alot of us go through. I am glad that you got yourself there because it really was a great honor to your grandparents. (((hugs))) jan

You're getting that mountain in ship-shape, K! Sounds like Sheri Ann & I will have a nice place to stay when we visit our board members this summer. LOL Just a head's up for the rest of you all;)

When Mel leaves, don't forget about us. We'll be here to support you. I know that you have some great coping skills because you've pulled them out in the past. But, we want you to know that you're welcome here. Good luck & GBU! (((hugs))) jan
