I am not sure what my problem is.I went to get my nails done and while I was sitting their,I started to feel trapped, and what if thinking, what

You're bound to be having some withdrawal from the nicotine, Jeanie. It can make you anxious, dizzy & even unfocused. Your body is getting adjusted to being normal again. When you are totally off the smokes, you will feel great. You'll sleep better, have more energy & hopefully when your taste buds come back & your nose is cleared of smoke, you'll have a better appetite. Keep up the good work!
As for the concert, it's a couple of days away. You will have your dd with you. I wouldn't think that man would have the nerve to bother anyone. Not after the last fiasco. Hopefully, you'll be so busy screaming Tim's name & listening to his music, there won't be time to panic. Good luck! (((hugs))) jan
Thank you Jan.I took half of my klonopin and 2 tylenol lastnight and slept like a rock.I had such a bad headache.
I went to a George Strait concert a few yrs back and had a panic attack, all the flashing, flickering lights, caused me to not beable to see right which made me panic.I had to leave.I have been thinking about taking half a klonopin before I go.I have never taken it durning the day though.Do you think I will be okay to do that?
Yesterday was a very trying day.My sons ex was out of control with her mouth again.I was very upset about her again.I have tryed to cut her off from all angles, now she just gets her messages across threw other ppl.Whatever.....Still,she has know reason for it.
My period is due today which always heightens my anxiety.I just feel like crap.
(((Jeanie))) I'm sorry you are going through this.

I know the feeling with smoking!!! I have tried several times to quit and cut back, but my body adjusts quickly to the reduction of the nicotine, and i get so dizzy afterthe first one of the day, I pushed it back to noon. eventually, the "reward" part of the smoking wasn't a reward cause i felt like garbage once I actually had it. I went from a pack a day, to 1 now. My after dinner one is THE hardest one for me. I can be around ppl that smoke and it doesn't bother me but if i can't have one after dinner.. grr watch out
I think that having a plan of action at the concert will really help! It should reduce your worry from what if I have an attack and have to leave but i don't want to bother anyone, to helping you realize that your not "trapped" and if ou have to leave, your ride will already know so you wont have to "mess up" the plans for the evening (for lack of better words). My husband know now that if i ask him to leave from somewhere he knows i'm having an attack and because we discussed it before, I find my self being able to stay in situations normally couldn't. (I hope this makes sense!!!)
I really do hope that you have a lot o fun at the concert! Tim McGraw is one of MY FAV singers and I would love to see him live! I've only been to see Brooks and Dunn but that was a great show too!
Hope this helps!
Wanted to thank everyone who responded.I have already warned everyone that I may need to step out.I told them the lights sometimes get to me.Their response, well just close your eyes.LOL..Its a little more complicated then that.Morgan(my dd)
I don't see a problem with taking one before you go.
