I consider myself a work in progress. I still have spells of anxiety & an occasional panic attack. I have learned to control my breathing, focus on the positive & relax my body like a Raggedy Ann doll. I know it won't hurt me, nor will I die. I admit to being a little discombobulated after it passes, but I move on. Regaining my strength & momentum as I put what happened behind me.
I am no expert. I am not stronger than you, Heather. If I can do it, so can you. It takes time & practice. I have had the attacks for 36 years. When I look @ my life with anxiety/panic, I have had many more good years than bad, more good experiences than bad. Sometimes when we are stressed out, it's difficult to keep that in perspective. Good luck! (((hugs))) jan
