I have had anxiety for as long as i can remember. I feel sometime s like i am just going crazy. I was wondering if anyone has felt these symptoms. U feel so anxious and ur world feels dark and lonely. Get so scared that u r just going to loose control of ur mind and go insane or something like aa sciophrenic. I worry about that sometimes like that is y i have anxity or something cause i read a about schizophrena somewhere many yrs ago and have become conviced that i y i have anxiety. IT is so embarrising writing this.. but was wondering ifanyone can relate.. LOL if not i am goin to the hospital..

i'm in the mist of a bad bought of anxieyt, and i fear this too....its a totatlly normal fear for people w/anxiety...fortunatelly its not true...unfortunatly its hard to believe this when you are feeling so anxious

Diagnostic Criteria

  1. Recurrent unexpected Panic Attacks

    Criteria for Panic Attack:
    A discrete period of intense fear or discomfort, in which four (or more) of the following symptoms developed abruptly and reached a peak within 10 minutes:



    1. palpitations, pounding heart, or accelerated heart rate
    2. sweating
    3. trembling or shaking
    4. sensations of shortness of breath or smothering
    5. feeling of choking
    6. chest pain or discomfort
    7. nausea or abdominal distress
    8. feeling dizzy, unsteady, lightheaded, or faint
    9. derealization (feelings of unreality) or depersonalization (being detached from oneself)
    10. fear of losing control or going crazy
    11. fear of dying
    12. paresthesias (numbness or tingling sensations)
    13. chills or hot flushes
