It sounds to me that maybe you are wanting to start the depression phase of your soon leaving just so you can get it over with. Not that you really want him to start school tomorrow, but you want the pain to hurry and get done. My husband is in the military and I fall into my hole about a week before he gets shipped out. The crying, the panic attacks and then the pushing him away, trying to disconnect myself from him. I just want the hurt to be over and done with, Perhaps that is what you are going through, which is good. It helps us to cope. Of course, nothing helps us cope better then a hug and kiss from our children and DH's
I think we'll be in the same boat, Sheri Ann. Jas will be going to college, so my life will definitely change. We can hold on together. OK? (((hugs))) jan
Anxiety seems to be hitting us hard right now. So many changes to cope with! Ian will be starting school soon and it will be a big change, trying small times without him might ease your way into it! Will he be going full-time? When my girls were at that age I started out with 1/2 day pre-school a couple days a week. It helped prepare me for the long days ahead.
Sheriann I can sympathize with you but that will do you no good!! It is hard yes it is but life is!!
