It just seemed kind of strange to me. According to my dh, his work is thinking about changing medical insurance companies, and in addition to providing my usual schpeel (e.g., SS#, etc.) they wanted me to give them a description of my appointments I had with my psycholgoist from Mar-May '06 in terms of the date, summary, and outcome. After typing out this information on a Word document, I just felt this sick feeling in my stomach that said, "Don't do it!" I then proceeded to call my dh this morning, and I asked him who was going to see this information. He said, "I don't know, those who are going to evaluate it, like the Director for Finance.." I then asked him if this was necessary since this was a pretty confidential appointment, in other words, the only people who should know about this is the doctor, the insurance company and myself. It just seemed kind of strange to me. Finally, my dh told me to just forget about it, that I didn't have to submit the description, and luckily, I didn't submit it.
Chances are, the Director for Finance would probably be professional enough not to spread the word about my condition (GAD), but still, to me it just didn't seem right. Anyway, according to my dh this was just a preliminary thing to determine if the association my dh works for will go with this other insurance company. Did I make the right decision? Does it seem odd that Finance would like to see a description of my appointments, because last I saw, I signed a document w/my Psychologist stating that I would not want to reveal anything about my condition w/o my permission, and that this was confidential.
Any thoughts?

I am totally confused by that!
