Worried about laughter

I don't laugh at many things and even when I do its not like out loud hard laughter that some people have. I think this comes from not being able to express my feelings and keeping everything inside (as my father did). I'm really worried about this as I have anxiety and I think it might help. I just don't know why I don't find things so funny. Is it because im tense? Medication? Just myself? and if it is just myself (or anything else you may think of) how could i even go about changing that? its not something that you can just change.. is it?

Please, it may sounds stupid but im really worried about it.

I think it's sad that you don't laugh.

In my opinion, if you are not suffering from depression.. I think you just need to accept that this is the was you are and thats OK.. If you dont focus on it as much things may change.. I am not one to laugh alot I also had a Dad and to this day he does not really laugh.. I laugh at some things and sometimes it just depends.. Like jokes and watching movies, I really dont laugh however, there may be something one of my kids does and it is just hysterical! Think positive and again dont really focus on it as much.. However, if you think you are or are depressed then you should speak to a doctor about it.. Thats a different story.. I was depressed for a long time, I didnt even leave the house until Wellbuterin saved my life.. I can enjoy life now.. The best of luck to you.. Everyone is great here so I am sure you will get lots of advice. Kriss
