Im sitting here trying not to loose it. I hate thunder & lightening. Im trying CBT trying to rethink whats the worst that could happen. Its been going on for over an hour. My daughter is in her crib, I feel its safer in there. Im sorry, no need to reply. Im just trying really hard to talk myself out of a whopper of an attack. Im scared to death right now. i dont even know why. A house was struck by lightening at 2am in Orlando last night, burned to the ground. Great news report for someone like me. I took .50 xanax, I think I need more. Ok.....I can do this. So irrational, right.

Welcome to the board, these ladies are wonderful and a great support system. It makes me feel better just to post to control an anxiety/panic attack. we are trying to move from FL to NC but my house isnt selling! Rather-no one is buying it....lol

Hi Sheri!

I can totally relate, Donna. I freak during storms & have to laugh because so does my dog. We both have to be medicated;)
I was doing ok with all the rain & flooding in PA until my dad said he hoped 2 local dams *held* or we would all be under water. OMG! I am doing alot of my belly breathing & meditating to keep my mind off these fears. Good luck! (((hugs))) jan

Oh great! Thats what I have to look forward to! If you dont mind me asking, where in NC do you live? We know nothing about the State just the research (extensive) I have been doing. We are looking at Clayton in the Triangle area because the schools seem to be good. Im leaving (again) 7/6 to look at more houses. I have only been researching Wake cty because I want to be in the middle of the coast and mountains. We have to make this move, my husband is goig to transfer and between his job now, & the weather here its tearing us apart. How are you feeling? Having a good weekend?
