Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried body talk to help with anxiety and panick attacks? I have heard this a few times from random places, and my first appoitment to try it is today at 3:15pm. I was just wondering if anyone else has tried this and if so what did you think?? Also I have heard that yoga is great to releive anxiety, and it teaches you breathing techniques that help to releive the feelings of not being able to breath or that someone is sitting on you. Please let me no if any of you have tried these and how it went, Thanks...... Kindra

I have not tried body talk. I will have to look into that. I am not familiar with it. I have done Pilates. That can be helpful. I tend to do active things like Zumba and play hockey. I know it sounds totally the opposite of relaxation but it actually helps me to do intense activity.

Yoga has helped me, but I have never heard of body talk.

Yoga with it's meditative aspects can be a real stress reducer for folks with anxiety. Breathing is so important when we panic. Here is some iVillage yoga info:
