Hi. I am in the same boat. I took my last Zoloft Friday morning. I am not familiar with your med but I have done lots of reading and talked to people and they all say the SSRI drugs have some withdraw symptoms so be prepared for that but don't give up. I am on Day 5 of no Zoloft and mentally I am doing pretty good. I feel like I have the flu though which is normal for a week or two they say. I feel dizzy and like I have a headache and some increased body temp and nausea. I am trying to muddle through.
Good luck, Heather! Since zyprexa isn't an antidepressant, it does not have any withdrawal symptoms in the reading I have done. Everyone is effected individually, though. Be prepared. Remember to meditate, breathe & be kind to yourself. I am happy you have a dr. to see you through. (((hugs))) jan
hi ladies, thanks for the support...i decided to ween off the meds because i am doing better, but mostly because i am pregnate and its a level C drug...unknown if there are any effects to the baby...:(, i am staying on the paxil even thought its a level D drug, which really upsets me, but....well, i've been sooo anxious and depressed i feel that it would be worse to be off of it...sooooo, my "compromise" is trying to ween off of the zyprexa....
