I sure hope I feel better soon. I've been the nervous, anxious and depressed wife/mother for 4 weeks now. I feel better some days and not so good other days. I think my husband is starting to get impatient. When I took Lexapro, I wasn't having any anxiety at all after three weeks, in fact, I felt great. Unfortunately, it stoppped working after a year and a 1/2. That's why I started Paxil CR (25 mg). I was expecting the anxiety/depression to be pretty much gone by now. I have generalized anxiety disorder w/depression. Therapy didn't help much. I just don't know what to do. I'm sick of being this way. I feel like giving up.

how long have you been on paxil? I think it generally takes 4-6 months for a drug to really start working... (i could be wrong though... maybe call you doctor.)

I know exactly how you feel. We all want to be better yesterday & are impatient when it doesn't come. Have you asked the dr. if a med

You had a couple of good days there, and I thought you were through the rough patch.

It usually takes 4-6 weeks, not 4-6 months, altho many people feel better much sooner.
