So, I went to Body Talk, and it is actually pretty cool. You lay on a bed and get all comfortable and your therapist ( I think thats what they are called) sits beside you, and all they do for either 1/2 and hour or a full hour (your choice) is hold your wrist and your shoulder. Apparently they can "talk" to your body by doing this, and I really beleive it. Before you go in, they dont ask any questions, they no nothing about you, but when they are done....WOW!!! She told me all about my anxiety and my fears. She knew that I spend alot of time looking back in my life and dwelling on old memories. Then she tried to explaine it to me, because at the end of every session, they tap on your head and your heart, and that means that they are "connecting all of your emotions and whatever in your heart to your brain". I dont no, it was really neat how she new so much about me by holding my wrist and shoulder. I recommend giving a try if you can find a place that does it!! if your interested in learning a bit more about it, I found this web site.

www.bodytalksystem.com

Go through it and see what you think, it will even help you find a practicioner in your area.

They say it can take up to 10 sessions before you actually start to notice some changes, but that lots of people notice it right away. I am one of the people that noticed a bit of a difference right away. My muscles are not so tense, I am sleeping a bit better, and I feel half conected to myself again, not quite such a detached feeling all of the time. I am going to keep going once a week and I will definetly keep updating the progress with it. :)
