Did not get the job--need hugs
| Wed, 07-12-2006 - 12:35pm |
I just found out that I did not the job I had interviewed for a couple of weeks ago. I am seriously about to cry and I still have to get through the staff meeting this afternoon. I can't seem to get anywhere. I always hear from employers that they hired someone with more experience (I don't have enough or the right kind apparently). I don't know what to do.

Sending lots of hugs, Laura. I am very sorry about the job. I know that you haven't been happy & wish you didn't have to stay in this situation. IMHO, making the best of things will go a long way. Tell your supervisor that you want to improve your job performance & gain some new experience that will put you in line for a promotion even if it means in your own department. Taking the initiative makes a lasting impression. Have you considered after work classes or training to boost your resume for the next job opening? Good luck to you. jan
