I am very confused now. I mentioned that earlier that I might be suffering from panic attack. I called the distress centro hotline about couple hours ago for their advice. I didn't have to ask for the interpretation because I have no problem to speak English but I am not a good speller. So, I didn't have to wait so long for help because I didn't need interpretation. The call centre staff adviced me to see the primary doctor ASAP. Also, she suggested the mental health clinic for me to visit there, like supporting group.

I don't know if I really did the right thing for tonight. I have been so embarassed to look for help but I finally have a courage to call the distress centre for help.

Anytime you reach for help when you feel its needed, is the RIGHT thing. good for you! we all try and "handle it" at times all by ourselves.. and its scary. reach out and dont be ashamed or embarrassed! you did good.

I carry the crisis hotline in my purse, JUST IN CASE i need help immediately! the symptoms really can make you feel like your losing it. and they are there to help.

good job and keep reaching for help :)

It was the right thing! Why suffer alone when you don't have too? Why continue to feel lousy when you can get some help & begin feeling better soon? That support group sounds like just the ticket. Good luck! Let us know what happens. We care. (((hugs))) jan
