hi everyone,
i'm new to the group and feel like i'm heading towards an absolute meltdown. i don't know where to turn to anymore and feel like my husband and friends have deserted me.

i'm 39 and mom to two little boys 4 and 6, for the past six weeks i've been going through a whirlwird of health issues. i was totally healthy before. i've suffered from vertigo, bouts of eye problems, tingling, vibrating and burning sensations. weakness in one leg and then one arm. i've been to the opthamologist, cat scan and lab, neurology exam was normal. my symptoms come and go and disapear. i'm now scheduled for an mri of head and neck and i'm so frightened and have spent weeks diagnosing myself; from ms to cancer to some spinal cord injury. i've tried to be positive but am scaring myself. can you send i really just need some positive vibes and well some friends would help but they seem to have fallen away quickly. just when i need them most.

thanks for anything you can send in a happy way to me (and some optimism since i have nil)

Try to focus on the positive, Katie. When you begin to worry about physical illness, remind yourself of all the good test results & the many blessings you have. This does sound alot like anxiety. We all fear what we can't control. Health problems are something noone can control. Live as healthy as you can & hope for the best. Don't borrow trouble as my gramma always said. I would just like to tell you one thing. All this physical problems... ALL of it is because of stress.
Stress is caused by something deeper so it might be anything.

That is what you should work on, discovering what mental prob you have.
And when you find out, then you should start looking for help to solve it.
