My husband and two kids and I went on a three day weekend to San Antonio. The entire time I was there, I didn't have any panic attacks and was actually quite relaxed. For the first time in 8 weeks, I didn't wake up vomitting and with high anxiety. Today was back to work and again, I woke up feeling pretty good. I have some nervousness throughout the day, but definately seeing improvement. I don't want to jinx myself, but I think I'm on the path to wellness. It's been 2 weeks since my doct. increased the paxil. I'll keep everyone updated!

Great news! Keep up the good work. Although the paxil is playing a role, give yourself credit for trying some new things & learning better ways to cope. Wishing you continued success:) (((hugs))) jan

I was so afraid of going on vacation that I almost backed out and stayed home alone. I'm so greatful that I didn't do that. A change of scenery really helped distract me and I have held on to that feeling. It was like a breakthrough showing me that I can feel good and relaxed and actually enjoy things.

Now, my next step is to wean off Ativan. I'm a bit nervous, but I think its for the best.
