Going back to school
| Mon, 08-07-2006 - 2:23am |
I am thinking about going back to school this fall. I have registered for classes but I am going to wait a week or so before I pay the tuition to be sure this is what I want to do. I feel like I am too old though, which is dumb because I am only 26 (well, 27 in a month). I just would like to at least get my AA degree to feel like I accomplished something. Anyway, I think I will meet with a counselor at the college next week and find out how many more credits I need to get the degree and then see how I feel.

That's a great plan, Jessica! I hope you carry through with it. Returning to school is one way to fill your time & burn off any extra anxiety you might have. You are never too old to learn & noone can take your education away from you. Take it slow & easy @ first to keep your balance. Good luck! Let us know how things go. (((hugs))) jan
Yay, Jessica!

Jessica, Don't think you are too old for school! I am older than you and I just graduated college for nursing. We had a lot of non-traditional students and we had a great group of ladies. Older students are a great resource of life experience and have a stronger dedication to learning, those all night parties are not a priority ;)
You will feel a great sense of accomplishment! Let us know what you decide.
