Hi -
I used to come onto this board alot about 8 yrs ago. It helped me through a very rough period in my life. This is the third time I have had a "major" anxiety episode in the last 20 yrs. Where I just can't shake the anxiety feelings - fuzziness, wobbly legs, pressure on the chest...etc..I got myself back into therapy and am about 10 days into being back on Prozac - which had been a miracle drug the first time around. I have to say I am much more clearheaded at this point. Having some pretty lousy side effects I think though. Major nausea and up until yesterday extreme fatigue. Any hints or advice for pulling through it. Last week I was horribly depressed but I pulled out my old bible - "from Panic to Power" by Lucinda Bassett and put a positive spin on it all...I am doing my yoga and pilates every morning but I am not getting alot further through the day. I am still afraid to go places, etc.. planning a short supermarket trip to try it our today. about a week and a half ago I left a cart there...This is so frustrating to be going through this again!!
thanks for listening....
Pam

Hi, Pam! Glad to
Well, I'm certainly not all better yet, but I'm a few weeks further along than you - about 3-4 weeks on meds now - and feeling SO much better - starting to eat a little and less and less tired. I make a point to go out at least once a day - I try to do twice - and now it's easier and easier. In fact, I just got home from a weekend away - something that seemed an impossibility even 5 days ago!
Hang in! It's going to get better - and soon!
Hi Pam, welcome back!
