Hi. I thought I'd update y'all on my situation. I just found out that I have an interview next Thursday for that health department job for the city. I'm happy yet anxious, just because of what happened two years ago where I had performance anxiety due to Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Also, I just went for orientation for the Nursing School on Saturday. So far, I found out that I have to take three courses before being admitted to the Nursing School, which isn't bad. This semester, I have to take an evening literature course on Monday, and perhaps an evening Thursday course in Pathophysiology. Next semester, I would take Pharmacology. The problem for next semester though is that it seems that the only Pharmacology course offered at least for this semester is in the morning during work. Don't know how I would swing that *if* I got that job. The problem is, I don't know how I can balance this out taking these two courses while working, but I was told it can be done. Hopefully, the literature course isn't that bad..I know the Pathophysiology will be tough.
My little girl is now 2 mos and 13 days old. She's adorable and I'm loving her more everyday. Thinking about me doing the job and the courses is getting me a little bit stressed, but then, I don't know even if I'll get the job.
My brother, who btw, is moving to CA this month, agreed to help me more with the interview responses about why I left my last position. I was thinking about saying something along the lines that I was just coming back from overseas and starting my life again in the U.S. as more or less an alabi (sp?) about why I resigned my last inspector position. Hopefully, that'll be a good excuse *LOL* But, in retrospect, I think it was to a degree. I guess I just have to be more responsible in terms of studying and organizing my time.
Please wish me luck. Trying not to be too anxious.
Thanks,
Yaddiya
