Of course dh sees it as more important that just "going to paint" but that is the truth! He has always felt an overwhelming need to take care of his mom and sisters, especially since his dad passed away 6 yrs ago. Everyone else in his family is so screwed up, they are seriously disfunctional and very inter-codependent. I try to keep him thinking with perspective.
I talked to my mom, she made it okay through the storm. She said she was up half the night at least, that the house was up on stilts but was pretty big (5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms) and the whole thing was shaking. But no broken windows or anything, so I think they will be fine now.
(((Sheri Ann))) I hope you made it through ok. I suspect you did;) Each time you get through these challenges, reward yourself & give lots of credit where it's due. In the future you can draw on this successful outcome. You will weather each storm a little better:) jan
