I have to Agree with Sheriann - you should be part of that decision - and not just have to go along with it. You have three small kids... that's alot on a momma - but it's a different stress for Dad.. I'd ask him why he feels it's time for the procedure.. and if he'll wait 6 months before having it done to see if he changes his mind.
You could go on the pill between that time if needed...
Alot of men feel inadequate after childbirth - they know that they didn't go through pregnancy and labor and that they have to provide for the child - or in your case - all three.. :) and that can really stress them out.. see if you can get someone to watch the kids - the two of you go out to dinner and talk about it.. tell him how you feel - but listen to his reasoning behind the decision.
Will he consider counseling?
