Hi everyone! It's been a while since I have posted, things have been changing in my life and it is hard to keep up with everything ;)
I started my first nursing job on a heavy medical floor in a hospital. So far I *think* I like it but that is hard to admit. Not used to having a positive in my life and recognizing it. My anxiety has been all over the map, some days I am very good and others not so good. But I think I am leveling out. I just need to stay positive and practice my breathing. Lately whenever I feel anxious/troublesome thoughts enter my mind I tell myself to breathe. I totally switch it over and empty my mind of everything but my breathing. I feel like it really helps. Also I have been doing some positive affirmations, I have some on my ipod and listed to them on my way to work (long drive)
More changes are ahead as I am planning a move soon. This will involve my children switching schools, moving to a new town, and basically starting my life over. I think it sounds nice ;) This old life is getting old and unhappy, a fresh start sounds really great. Maybe that will help with the anxiety too, will keep you posted.

Things are changing pretty quick. It is causing some stress and anxiety but I am doing my breathing and trying to cope.
