Whether it is cheating on sleep, disrupted sleep due to shift work or rotating work schedules, a reliance on sleeping pills, insomnia or other common sleep problems such as sleep apnea, the complaint of "I'm exhausted" has become one of the most common refrains in America today. But there is a way out of our sleep-deprived trap. Some of the topics we'll be covering in the challenge include understanding and assessing your sleep, cognitive and behavioral techniques for insomnia, reducing your reliance on sleeping pills, stress-reduction techniques and lifestyle practices for sounder sleep, and techniques for managing jet lag, shift work, and improving sleep by minimizing your child's sleep problems.
