Cymbalta working well

I've been taking Cymbalta for 2 weeks now and it seems to be already working. And this week has been a great test. A friend of mine who had been ill for a long time died last Sunday and today my husband's employee who is only 28 years old died. Also, my best friend's SIL who I am also friends with is in the hospital and not expected to make it another week. It has been a horrible week. Normally I would be needing Xanax but I haven't hardly at all. I am sad and even a bit depressed at times but not anxious or having panic attacks, thank goodness. I feel strong even with all the bad and sad happenings. Thank goodness for modern medicine.

And for everyone who is having a hard time right now, hang in there! There are things out there to help you too. Everyone is different and so everyone will have a different solution but there are solutions!

Big Hugs!!!!!

(((Laura))) I am sorry for your losses. Please be kind to yourself through this difficult time. That is good news about the cymbalta. I hope you continue to cope better with anxiety. jan

Laura,

I am benefitting from Cymbalta also! My panic/anxiety is WAY DOWN. Since they upped my Cymbalta the last time I haven't needed a klonopin at all! It's been a month since I took a klonopin. FOR ME Cymbalta is a miracle and it has decreased my appetite and helped with the binge/purging of bulimia! I too have lost a loved one this month and although I am still having a little depression I think that's normal for going through major losses. Just wanted to let others know to keep looking for their med that will help them like Cymbalta has helped me! It has been 4 years of meds and med changes to get to this point.

I take a "cocktail" of medications. Cymbalta, Prozac, and Geodon. But the anxiety/panic went away when they added the Cymbalta. I also have Klonopin as needed and Ambien for sleep.
