I have been married 5 years and I know people have rocky times, but I don't know anymore about us.

ya know, i think sometimes "we" all think about our marriage...men just don't "think" like women think...which i suppose isn't always a bad thing, but sometimes they just don't get "it"

Husbands can be frustrating. I hope you are able to resolve some of these issues with him. Have you thought about marriage counselling? It might help you guys to actually communicate effectively. I have found in my marriage, that when we are getting defensive with one another, it's generally because we aren't truly *hearing* one another.

Please let us know how things are going with you!

Hi Heather,

I was wondering how you were doing? It's been a while since I've posted on this board and I was lurking tonight. In fact, the last time I posted, you had just announced your pregnancy. I remember you were having a lot of problems with anxiety. Are you doing ok?
How do you manage your anxiety during pregnancy? That's a big, big concern of mine. My DH and I want a baby, and I'm terrified of being pregnant because of not being able to take any anti-anxiety meds while being pg. I keep thinking that I'll feel sick and miserable the whole time and not want to be pregnant. I know that xanax and klonopin are class d meds and you can't take them while pg. Do you know if there is anything you can take that helps? If I could get past that one "block", the fear of being ill the whole time, then nothing would hold me back from getting pg.

I know that there are thousands of women that suffer from anxiety and have healthy pregnancies, but I have never heard from anyone first hand about their experience.

This is a big concern for many women who post, Monica. I can say that my anxiety DECREASED during pregnancy. I took no meds @ all during both by pregnancies. In fact, I can say that I felt better then than what I normally do. My worries & fears were practically nil, even though *sensations* usually bring out my fear of illness. As you know, the growing baby gives you lots of new sensations. LOL Maybe my hormonal changes worked to my advantage. Hopefully others will post & give their experiences. Good luck. (((hugs))) jan
