Hi friends! Im sorry I havent been on here in quite awhile..Im all moved in my new home, with bfriend and daughter. it was a big move. its taken the whole month to feel at home.. I had a couple of REALLY great weeks, feeling wonderful, alive and active. I even went to a concert (dave mathews) at the Gorge in Wash. state. that was overwhelming, but Im so glad i went. very little anxiety, which was wonderful. I started acupunture, and its been going well. I think. however, since friday, i was feeling under the weather a little, and now im feeling anxious. the unrealness has crept back in.. this symptom is horrible. I hate it. I look at my wonderful boyfriend of two years and feel unreal. look at my daughter and feel unreal. Im so sad today that this came back. Im trying to remember that this goes away and the good comes back.. but its hard. im still on effexor, but only one capsule a day, small dose. i feel like im just a slip away from losing it. I'll have to talk to the dr now and am affraid. I hope you all are doing well :) I'd love to hear how you're all doing.

hi there mom:) forgive me, i remember you but can't remember your name:)...i'm glad to hear that you've had a few good weeks...thats great! it helps to remind me that we can get better.
You are NOT alone. The unrealness is the hardest part of anxiety/panic for me. It's disturbing & unsettling. I have found that keeping my mind & body busy is the best defense. Keep on pushing through. Setbacks such as this are common to all on our board. More than likely the many recent life changes have triggered the feelings.
You WILL get back to where you were, just as soon as you get your balance back. Have you tried the belly breathing or meditation? How is the accupuncture working? Why do you fear seeing the dr? Working with our health care professional is one of the best ways to find solutions to our anxiety. Maybe you don't have a good relationship with the dr. If that's so, then you have every right to choose someone who's concerned about you & has your best interests in mind. Good luck & GBU! (((hugs))) jan
(((hugs))) It sounds like you have been super busy!

Thank you ladies :) I needed those hugs. Im feeling a bit better today and remembering to just take a step at a time. you're all very right..there has been a lot of things going on.. its funny how on the outside we think.." this is no big deal.. its not THAT stressful" but clearly, it is. moving, getting settled, school starting for my now 10year old girl..still new at work and some really sad and disappointing news about my brother is probably quite a bit of stress. lol. I feel a little lost with my dr. and the one i really liked is over 30 miles away.. too hard to get to. my dr is ok for general practice, she just doesnt give you much time and likes to prescribe and shoo you out quickly. so I will be searching for a new one.
OH here is a cheery little note! I watched the movie ELF last night.. lol.. and now I am VERY excited for our Holiday seasons comming up!! :)Have a great day ladies and I hope its a good one for everyone!

You have gone through a move and alot of other changes and upsetting news about your brother.
So if you are feeling the way you do it is understandable.
My ds went through that when we moved (and I wouldn't have moved without consulting and involving him) (he was just as excited as me) (loves our "new place"), but sometimes he feels like this.
Hope everything goes okay for you.
New Beginnings.
