Bad night last night....

Last night, I had to go the pharmacy to refill 2 of my daughter's prescriptions. I went to pick them up and of course there was a very long line. I started getting hot & dizzy just standing there. FINALLY, I made it to the counter & the girl tells me that they could not fill her zyrtec yet. SEE, Sunday night while unpacking, I had her bottle of zyrtec in my hand and it fell on the concrete driveway & busted. I just got that new bottle of zyrtec last week. ANYWAY...the girl in the pharmacy said they could fill it, but insurance would not pay for it and that would be $75!! So, that upset me, I told her they might as well fill it because my daughter HAD to have it. Then i stopped them and told them not to because It just upset me so bad. By the time I got home, my arm started getting really heavy and I just felt like I was out of it. I am gonna call the Dr. office and see if I can get some samples of the zyrtec just to last her 19 more days (when the insurance will pay again!)....UGHHHHH!!! Anyway, last night when my boyfriend got to my house I gradually calmed down & felt better. If only he could be around all the time!

(((Ingrid))) I am sorry this happened. It would've upset me, too. I have a very hard time waiting in line. Have you tried distracting yourself by balancing your checkbook or doing math problems? Maybe you could carry a search-a-word puzzle book along with you or something else you can do while waiting. These things along with the belly breathing get me through.
I am glad your bf is there to help, but we all need to learn to depend on ourselves to relax & keep calm. In spite of your waiting, you DID do a great job. Please remind yourself of how you made it through. That will help when this situation arises in the future. You CAN do it! Good luck! jan
thanks jan....
I just had a bad moment today trying to get some samples from the Dr. They didn't have any and tried to say they could not get any from any other Dr. either. I finally just told her to ask the Dr. to call me. I got very upset & had to leave my office, but I'm trying to calm down now. Well I just remembered that her dermatologist may have some samples, so I can call them....except I'd have to drive an hour to get there. Will these tough days ever be over with???? grrrr!
How frustrating!
