My anxiety attacks have gotten to the point to where my left leg shakes when I am driving to bring my son to work. My kids seem to think i'm going crazy and my son thinks I bring the attacks on. I'm ready to be a better mom to my kids cause I feel that I have failed them since I havent been able to do things with them like I used to.

I am very sorry to hear that you're having problems. Your children should be told that anxiety/panic disorders are a genuine illness. No different than cancer or diabetes. You have no control over them, nor do you bring them on. You CAN control how they effect you. You CAN change your thinking & patterns of behavior that may contribute to them. That is best done by seeing a therapist. Have you considered that? Although you said previously that lexapro didn't work, many of us have had great success with antidepressants. There are plenty of them out there. Now that you are really suffering & want to change,

Thanks for writing back. My dr. wants me to go see a therapist but where I would have to drive to see one, I get really nervous driving that far. I wish that they had some that would come to your house. I'm trying to deal with my attacks without taking my meds, cause I have done it before, but not have my left leg shake like it does now. But I do take deep breaths when my attack comes on. Talking to people that have them help out.
