Hi there,

As one who has suffered from generalized anxiety disorder for many many years I can certainly sympathize!! I was on Paxil for two years and didn't like it at all... I found I felt "flat" all the time as far as emotions are concerned - for the past few years I've been taking celexa with pretty good results and just last week have switched to Cipralex which is suppose to be somewhat of a 'new and improved' version of celexa. Maybe you need to consider switching meds?? Just a thought... good luck! :)

Cipralex is lexapro. This is the trade name for Canada & overseas. Someone mentioned this a couple months ago & I still have my little cheat sheet attached to the pc screen;) HTH Sheri Ann. (((jan)))

Hi. I don't know your full story but I was wondering if you've tried other meds. I also get obssessive thoughts and have found that certain drugs work better than others for it.

hi:)

i've only taken paxil, and had real sucess w/it 10 years ago up until the last 5 months...i'm begining to think maybe i do need a med change...but, my doc doesn't want to play around w/my meds while i'm pregnant, so i'll have to wait a while and the re-evalute the situation.
