I didn't have severe anxiety until after my second child was born. That has always puzzled me. Wondering about others & if you had trouble after every birth. jan

Hi

I am new. Yes, It was pretty severe anxiety after my only twins were born. Took an anti-depressant for years. Do not take anything now. They are my only kids...

I know about B-vitamins. I take b-50 daily. Do you think there is other stuff I could take for the anxiety besides SSRIs which I do not like. Yes, I am new and could really use any suggestions..Lezza

Hi Lezza,

Welcome!

I also have twins. Two Boys and they are 5 now.

I think that the basics seem to cover it....

Get as much rest as you can.

Exercise regularly

Eat well

I would also add a multivitamin, taken daily.

Just basically take care of yourself.

Good Luck to you!!!!

Hi

Wow, 5 year old twins! You have a long way to go! And they grow up so fast as they say! Mine are 14. Each year does get easier.

THanks for the coping skills. I do all what you said and I appreciate it. Take care. Lezza

Hi Leeza,

I am already seeing how fast they grow up. They just started Kindergarten and it seems like yesterday that they were babies.

I am so proud to see them learn and experience so many things but I am sad that I don't have them at home.

Just wondering if you kept them together at school? I chose to keep them together this year and even their teacher agrees that it was the right thing to do.

Take Care,

~Heather

Hi

Some twins work well together in class, especially in kindergarten being their first real experience in school besides preschool, etc.

But after that, I did seperate them and they were okay with it. They saw each other at lunch and were fine with it. I wanted them to experience part of their day wtihout each other. Part of establishing their own identity. They do have the same friends though to this day.

Are yours identical? Mine are and it was hard to tell them a apart when they were young so being in seperate classes helped the teachers with their confusion But I do think it is a personal decision.

They are not identical but they are mirror image. Most people can't tell them apart.. their teacher now still has a hard time with it.

I'll attach a pic...

Thanks for the advice..
