Hi everyone, had my dr's app. on Monday and told my doctor about the forgetfullness in the middle of conversations and struggling to remember ordinary words and he said that he has heard this from several of his patients on anti-depressants and that he does believe that it has something to do with the antidepressants. He also said the anxiety itself, makes you forget things also, so for right now he thinks I should stay on the Zoloft and in a few months we will see if it gets any worse since I have just started Zoloft about a month ago he said it needs to be 6-8 weeks before we can really tell. Also he asked about my sleeping issues, and I do notice when I am not getting at least 8 hours of straight sleep a night that the forgetful, loopy feeling is a lot worse so he told me to start taking the Zoloft earlier in the morning because I was taking it at around noon every day and that may be why I can't sleep at night so who knows but I pray that this works so wish me luck!!!

I hope you got the reassurance you needed, DHW. It sounds like a good plan. I know a few ppl who take zoloft just for sleep. Taking it upon arising is probably the best thing you can do for yourself. Wishing you better sleep! Keep in touch. (((hugs))) jan

Never tried Zoloft. But I do hope that you adjust to the medication and are able to gain a better sense of normalcy. I am not really good at this but I am trying to interact a bit more with the board.

So anyway, good luck and you are not alone.

Take care,
Rob
