Stomach issues and Zoloft?

I just started Zoloft 4 days ago and generally I seem to be handling it well. I know it may take a few weeks before I have any results but I am concerned about my stomach right now. I am wondering if anyone knows if my stomach symptoms will likely go away after some time of taking this or can I expect diarreah daily forever. Certainly that would not be a good thing. I hope this is a temporary side-effect? Otherwise the drug is not making me feel all that bad right now and hopefully any wierdness I may feel will go away?

Hey There,

Hmmmmm...,, I had the same prob with Zoloft, But I my anxiety also causes Stomach probs with me so it was something I was use to. I think that once your body adjusts to the drug it may subside a bit, however I would keep an eye on yourself. Zoloft is a wonder pill for many people, but for me It just tore my body and my mind apart. I would say no matter what Talk to your doc. Hope you are feeling better soon!!!

Wow I hope the drug doesnt tear me apart. I am trying so hard to find something that will work for me and not leave me in more pain. My body did not take well to Effexor. How long did it take before you realized Zoloft was tearing you up? This is an aweful condition to have. Its nothing but this big vicious cycle and although I've been told its a paper tiger it certianly doesnt act like one.
