Hard to tell if it's because of the midterm election results or if it's the increased Wellbutrin-XL, but I'm starting to notice that I'm feeling better. It creeped on so gradually, but today I can definitely tell (again, may be attributed to the Democrats gaining power LOL). I've been chatty with coworkers, actually laughing and talking with people, which is something I never do.

I really really hope this higher dose of medicine will work because my doctor wants to see me next week, and he had said that if I was not feeling better by then that he wanted me to drop back down to 300 mg. of Wellbutrin-XL and add an SSRI on top of that. And you guys know how I feel about SSRIs.

Keep your fingers crossed...

Laura that's great that you are finally noticing a differance. I know it was a relief to me when my meds finally kicked in. Wishing you continued sucess.

I am so happy for you, Laura. This surely is a relief that the SSRI's won't be needed. (((hugs))) jan

Hey, Amy! It's kind of you to ask. Depression wise, I am still feeling better. What's concerning is that I've had a spike in anxiety, which I'm not sure whether it's due to increased stress in my life or the increased dosage of Wellbutriun-XL. My p-doc took another job, so he's referred me to someone else and I have an appointment with her next month and I'll talk to her about this. I've spoken with her on the phone, and she sounds very nice. I really hope I don't have to stop taking the medicine as it's the only anti-depressant I've been able to tolerate without experiencing awful side effects (not that anxiety isn't awful, but you know what I mean!).
