She said it is probably something called costochondritis (I think I spelled that wrong)

Try not to stress honey. I know it's hard, but take a deep breath (even if it hurts) and tell yourself that until you speak to your doctor you WON't WORRY! You cannot worry about something you have no control over (well, you can, but you shouldn't). Try telling yourself it is what it is and there's nothing you can do right now but wait until you see your doctor. If you feel like it's getting worse though, you should go get checked out in the ER even if its just for reassurance. There are so many physical symptoms to anxiety and I've had em all.....so try to relax and tell yourself not to worry. If you say it enough you may convince yourself. Good luck. Warm bath. The sound of the wind......use imagery.....close your eyes and just breathe..........

HTH.

I had that once from taking tennis lessons. I practiced my 2 handed backhand a bit too vigorously. I was convinced it was something serious, Tina. But, I always do that when anxious): I used warm, moist heat, tylenol & some icy hot ointment. I needed alot of reassurance & belly breathing to get me through. It did heal quickly. Good luck to you. Enjoy your weekend! (((hugs))) jan
