Just wondering how everybody's doing.

I am surprisingly on top of things so far. I have to have everything ready for dh's family because we celebrate with them next week. We got a lot of baking done this weekend, and got the tree decorated.

I blew off a Christmas cocktail party we are invited to every year because the friend who is throwing it just married a guy who I just can't stand, and I'm not so fond of her anymore either - she's gotten really pretentious and snobby. So instead of making a big effort to dress up and try to have a good time I declined the invitation this year. I felt so good sitting at home with my family last night, ordering in Chinese food and just relaxing in the evening.

So I have some shopping left to do - mostly gift cards and a couple of things for dh.

I've been feeling a little anxious, some chest pains here and there. I'm trying not to overcommit and to rest and exercise when I need it. My sleep is still kind of out of whack, but the Lexapro seems to be helping the anxiety/panic attacks a lot.

I am trying to play it low key this year, and stick to doing things that are meaningful to me and my family and that make me feel good. I hope you are all able to do the same.
