QOTW Do you journal to help with your anxiety?
- Yes, I do.
- No, I don't.
- I used to journal.
- I am considering keeping a journal.
- Other. Please feel free to share your thoughts.

I voted "Other" because I've sporatically kept a journal in the past, but just did not write in it much...then realized that most of my major life events get shared online or in long letters to my family.
So I started copying my messages and letters into a "journal" type file. Not as comprehensive as a diary, but I have the mental floss of writing stuff out and it'll be an interesting read for DD someday or an original source for my memoirs. LOL

I know everyone says it will help, but I can't do it. I've always been super paranoid about people reading my stuff--like if I were to get hit by a bus and die suddenly and my parents had to sort through my things. Somehow, that doesn't stop me from owning sex toys and erotica--LOL.
And I never used to understand authors who specified that their papers be burned after their death, but now I understand that. I write short stories--write them by hand, actually--and I wouldn't want my papers to stick around (not that I'm a famous author, haha).
And I also hate to think of writing things down and having someone else find and read what I wrote.
