So my regular Thursday session was changed to this afternoon at 1:30. I showed up at 1:30, sat and waited. And waited. The receptionist guy--who, admittedly, can be a flake--double checked to make sure that my appointment was indeed at 1:30. It was. Therapist was nowhere in sight. He paged her. I sat and fidgeted. Played a game on my cell phone. He paged her again. No answer. I waited for about 45 minutes, told the receptionist to have the therapist call me, and then went back to work, on the verge of a panic attack because you may remember I had told you guys that my therapist was going to be out of the office starting next week until the 2nd week of JANUARY.
Therapist called and apologized profusely. She had gotten confused about the time. Asked if I could come in next Tuesday, which is great because I know she normally doesn't see people on that day and I needed a session before the holiday break. I am so glad she can see me. I was afraid I was going to be out of luck when it wasn't even my fault.

Hi Laura,
Glad you were able to get another appointment, although the wait and stuff must have been a bother.
I got a "bonus" appt with my *T next week because so many students are off campus, she has more spots open.
Happy Holidays!
Smiles,
Dee
