anyone ever have this? i have been having it off and on for a couple months now i've called my doc about it by my chiropractor's recommendation and i'm having panic right now cause the nurse was like you need to be seen. ugh!! i hate being a worrier!!!! i already have a headache today i don't need this. i just get these cold tingles in different plces in my face or head or other places too sometimes. not during a panic attack either. am i crazy???? ha

I have not had that myself, but it never hurts to get stuff checked out. I hope you get some helpful info from your doc.
and I am sure you're not crazy! Lots of people have different symptoms for different things, not all from serious conditions, but you should never feel that your feelings or concerns should be dismissed. You know your own body best after all!
Hugs,
Dee
I have had something similar to that. Generally not when I was having a panic attack, but would almost always turn into one cause i'd start freaking out thinking what the heck is wrong with my brain. I would have tingling sensations - but it was more of a burning tingle than a cold one. everynow and then it would be cool.. and weird feeling.. One night it was very strong burn and i went to ER - they admitted me to make sure i wasn't having a seizure or anything of that nature.. but only because i basically insisted they look into it further than just tell me that it would be ok.. but without an explanation. They just watched me over night and ran some blood work and did a exam to make sure i was doing things proper like following their finger in different directions and all that just to make sure my brain was functioning properly. I never got a real explanation for the issue - but it did stop after i stopped having full blown panic attacks multiple times a day. I had asked my pdoc about it once and he mentioned derealization can sometimes cause a tingling and disconnected feeling..
I still think it's a good idea to have that checked - just for the fact that it's better safe than sorry. IMO

I am certain this is very scary. I am not going to dismiss your tingling, but encourage you to get it checked out. That is the safe route. Let us know what the dr. says.
I will say that tingling is a common symptom of anxiety/panic. It is more than likely due to hyperventilating. It can go along with the irregular or ragged breathing we sometimes have when we're very anxious. We feel like we can't take a deep breath. I have all sorts of sensations when anxious. Tingling, little pains, aches, feelings that my stomach is super empty that all boil down to things not being quite right. ITA with Val. Being *off* can send me right into a panic attack. Belly breathing & positive affirmations get me back on track. It took alot of practice before these methods worked.
Take care. You are NOT alone. We care & want you to feel your best. GL! (((hugs))) jan
