Decided not to post my comment after all. Don't pay any attention to the eye rolling emoticon. It wouldn't let me go back and change it.
Hi Jan.....I personally do not suffer from an anxiety disorder but I certainly have much sympathy and empathy for those that do. I think recognising the signs and symptoms of an anxiety problem as soon as someone feels it is very important to helping getting it under control. There are such wonderful support areas out there such as boards like this that are essential. Just wanted to thank you for being there for others.

I voted 'other.'
My dad has panic attacks but has never sought treatment. In fact, he gets very anxious when I discuss mine. He has taken meds in the past. Now, he never travels away from home or rides in elevators. I have a paternal aunt who panicks but contributes her's to mitral valve prolapse. She uses therapy & a beta blocker for treatment. I also have a paternal cousin who chose the career of long haul trucker. In his late teens he drove to a distant city & was unable to return. His parents brought him home. He also panicked on a plane once & a department store. To the best of my knowledge, he has never sought help. It is rarely discussed. He has been jobless most of his adult life because of his difficulties.
This is why I am always confronting my fears & pushing through in spite of being uncomfortable. I also think it's ok to talk about anxiety disorders & seek treatment. It saddens me that folks would rather be uncomfortable &
I'm not aware of any family members having anxiety issues, so I voted 'other'.
I give a lot of credit to anyone that can recognize their issues and get the help that is available to get control and a better quality of life.

<Thanks, I just made it this evening! I found the artwork somewhere and thought the colors were so pretty that I just had to use it.
