I totally understand what you're saying there girl. I have 5 kids, so I know what it is like to TRY to keep your house clean and the anxiety, chaos, out and out panic that goes along with that. You get one thing cleaned up and the kids are tearing it down in a matter of minutes. You can only do one thing at a time. Like you said, don't try to put too much pressure on yourself. You didn't mention how old your kids were, but enlist them as helpers and give them daily chores. I use a "strike" method. I keep a small container for each child above the age of 4, I have a container of marbles. I don't nag my kids, but if they don't do their chores or if they misbehave they get a "drop in the bucket". I go with the rules of baseball, three strikes you're out, three outs you're out of the game. I have a box full of prizes and goodies and every Friday if they have less than the 9 marbles in their "buckets" they get to pick a prize. But if they are "out of the game" then they won't. Don't try to be supermom, just remember you already are, to 3 great kids and they love you no matter what.
Hi, Yavonne! It's always good to hear from you. It seems that women never have enough hours in the day. I recall when my kids were little & now wonder how I ever did it all. Or @ least I thought I was;)
I'm glad to know that your family had a nice Christmas. Wishing you & your's a very Happy New Year! (((hugs))) jan
