Went to the pdoc today. He did at least talk to me for awhile which is rare. They are gonna wean me off the Lexapro (it isn't working) and upped my Trilafon up to 4 mg 3x a day. Hopefully this will help. I talked with him about changing my T but he refused to do that. Told him I knew all the control techniques I needed someone I could talk with. He just gave me a line a poop. That was my exciting meeting. Lets hope the meds work

(((Keitha)))

At least he changed something, sorry about the *T. Guess I don't really understand that...is there some type of referral or provider agreement going on which limits where he sends people or something?

Hugs,

Dee I'm waiting to get on my disability which limits me to a government agency. Plus it's the only agency here in my town. This pdoc gave me some bull about how it doesn't help people to go back into their past because it can't be changed. My way of thinking is if I can't talk about it how am I to let it go. I've suffered this illness since i was 19 i'm now 56 it's just all caught up with me and i need to get it out of my system before i explode. Maybe the meds will mess me up enough i won't care anymore. That's the best I can hope for at this time. I'ld dump my life story on you all but it's way to much for the normal person to deal with. LOL

I am hopeful with the trilafon, Keitha. It was used alot with great success before the newer families of antidepressants were developed. I understand the limitations on the *t.* That doesn't mean I agree with it or think anyone in the US should have any sorts of limits placed on their choice

Hi Keitha,

Not sure where you are in the disability process, but wanted to say...if you don't get it first time around, keep appealing. It took DH three years to get on for his MS & we did end up getting a lawyer for the final appeal.

I'd be glad to talk more about the process we went through if you have questions, but you're probably up on it anyway. ;) Hang in there!

Thanks Dee I'm on my last appeal right now. The judge and vocational guy I went before approved it but the board in VA denied me . I don't quite understand how they could but they did. If they deniey me again I'll just start the process over. With a differant lawyer this time as I feel mine didn't do all they could have done for me.
