OMG! That is awful, Sheri Ann. Having had some bad burns in the past, I can feel your pain. Did you take a couple of tylenol? Are you drinking lots of fluids? It is possible you have some sun poisoning. It was pretty windy here yesterday. Any wind down there? It's possible to have windburn on top of a sunburn which only makes it hurt twice as much): Please take care of yourself. Get some rest. We use vinegar to take the sting out the burn. Apply it liberally. If you start itching & have a rash usually with little water filled blisters(truly sun poisoning) go easy on the Lanacaine/Solarcaine. Get yourself to medical care if you don't make a turnaround!!! Get well soon. (((hugs))) jan
Isn't it a pain, when we have a good time and then feel lousy after? I hope you feel better soon. I am jealous of your good weather though!! It has been sunny the last few days, which I appreciate! But it is still brrrrrrr, very chilly up north here!
Actually I sat out on the deck for a few minutes chatting with a friend and it was nice. (she was smoking outside)I had to go in and warm up after though.
Your story reminds me of my trip to Seattle last spring...the final day of the convention, I skipped two sessions and just walked around the city. That was great day...I felt really happy for the first time in so long. Saw the tourist stuff, Pike Street market, art, hung out at the waterfront park; thinking deep thoughts. ;)
I was wearing a bouse and got soooo sunburned. I didn't even think about it at all until back at the hotel. I was bright red! On the news that night, it said it was one of the rarest sunny days all year. I guess they hardly ever get that kind of weather. It was overcast and rainy the other days I was there. And this was in April! LOL
I wish I were there with you in NC! We were supposed to move there. Im in cold rainy NJ but its actually warm for this tim of year. Put aloe on your face, it will be better tomorrow. Sun is good for you. Donna
Though the war be not over, I am indeed winning skirmish after skirmish; battle after battle - for "if God b e with me, who can stand against me ?" certainly not these hells they call anxiety, depression, panic, and phobia. I mock them - paradoxical in
