so bad I can't even tell you

Warning: possible frazzled, rambly post ahead
I don't even know where to start. Things at work continue to deteriorate. I've been sick the past few days with a bad cold, and yesterday my boss called me at home to chew me out about staying home when we're so busy and blah blah. Reality check: winter is cold and flu season. People catch colds and flu because people who are sick go out and infect others with their germs. When I'm contagious, I stay home and rest so I can actually get better FASTER than dragging myself in to work where I won't get much done because I feel so bad.
I came in today to find a mountain of work piled on my desk plus a snarky e-mail from my boss telling me which days I should work on which projects when normally each of us prioritizes our own tasks/projects. I know it's punishment for being out yesterday. But, really, I shouldn't take it to heart as she is antagonizing everyone in the office (with the exception of her pet). As busy as I was today, I managed to find 5 job leads which I will work on applying for tonight. I have to get out of here. My anxiety is spiking. I'm back to 2 or 3 attacks a week (which is a lot for me).

((((Laura))))
I'm glad that you are working on leads for new jobs. I hope you find a good one soon. I have experienced "personality conflicts" with not nice people to work with and it definitely sucks.

I am sorry to hear how the boss is treating you. Maybe she does treat others just the same, but I would feel badly as you do Laura. Noone wants to be on the end of that sort of employer/employee relationship.
Good luck on finding the right job. 5 leads are ALOT! I know that when you're successful, you'll feel so much better. jan
sounds like you have a lot going on...
sickness is a trigger for me too
feel better fast and keep us posted
