REALLY Trying!!!

Hi ladies,
I have really been trying to take care of myself since the beginning of the year and have felt a lot less anxious. I got a SAD lamp for Christmas and I love it! However, I just heard about a stomach virus going around (my biggest fear) and I am starting to freak out. I am trying to occupy myself with other things and "stay in the moment" but I am really struggling. It seems like one little thing can cause a huge setback. I feel like a real whiner but thanks for listening.

when something scares you so much, such as you said getting the stomach virus, can be really hard to deal with. it is hard to occupy yourself and have that constant fear. i have been feeling better for a while now, but when i would feel anxious alot, my boyfriend would come over and watch movies with me and lay in bed and eat popcorn and let me fall asleep before he left. i found that it helped me alot. sometimes i still have frightening thoughts but when i do i just rebuke them and think about the future and how good my life has been and what an amazing bf i have and how happy he makes me. he has been my only real support and i am so thankful i found him.
maybe try those things. maybe they will help you. do somethings for yourself. it always makes you feel better.
