The chest pains are back........

Ok, I'm losing it over here. I have a 5 month old who never, ever sleeps. I have a toddler who was sleeping, but her older sister decided to wake her up. My house is a mess, I'm still overweight from this baby, and I'm constantly stressed.

I think I'm losing it. My chest pain is back..........:(

Hi, Stacey! Sorry to hear that the chest pain is back. Did anything ever work for that? Maybe tylenol or did the dr. give you a muscle relaxant?

I know that with the kids you aren't able to tear yourself away. Can you get your mom to come & help? A gf? How much longer before dh is home? I know what it feels like to be losing it. It won't happen, btw. But focusing on that thought gives it more power & us more anxiety.

It will get better. All of this will pass, but never soon enough. Have dh watch the kids for an hour tonight & take a bubble bath, paint your nails or do something that gives you pleasure. I hope you feel better soon. See ya in chat? (((hugs))) jan

You sound really overwhelmed.
I wish I could help!!

When mine (now 15 & 13) were like that (wound up and loud for hours and hours without stop) I would sing really loud--kept me breathing instead of screaming I think :)

thanks ladies......it's been quite stressful. I know that it won't always be like this, but there are days I swear I'm gonna snap (although I know I couldn't be so lucky to snap and have someone spoon feed me jello KWIM?- LOL). It's just having a toddler who is so needy (and sometimes I treat her older than I should) and a newborn who is miserable (yeah, we're still working on her health issues- s he has more allergy testing tomorrow).
And then Samma is always fighting with Della and Brendan's teacher is always calling and well, it's insanity all around.

But, I do have one good thing that happened this week. Samantha (who is 5 and so clingy) has finally been given a bedtime. She's in bed now by 8 p.m. So yes, Jan, I WILL be in chat tonight :)

(((Stacey)))

I would get the chest pain checked out again when you can. Hope you get a breather tonight. Hang in there.

Hugs,
Dee

Already did. They are saying it's a muscle pull combined with anxiety :(

Oh my gosh, I can so relate. Im sure the chest pains are anxiety, I get them all the time and have been to this board several times for reassurment it wasnt a heart attack. Ihave a 2 yr old that can be very trying, I understand how you feel. DOnt concern yourself with the weight now. I shuldnt say that because I obsess daily. Maybe take a walk with the kids. I just wanted to say I relate so much to how you feel and its scary. E-mail me privately if you ever want to chat.

Thanks Donna for your kind words. It's nice to know that I'm not alone :)

And Jan, I missed you all too. I planned on being in chat last night but Samma decided she was gonna get the "throwin and goin' bug" and was up all night puking and all. So I spent the night helping her and think I got sleep from say 5 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. when I had to get up and take Natalie for her allergy testing.......*sigh* This poor baby is allergic to EVERYTHING.........

So I'm sorry I missed you gals once again. Hopefully tomorrow I can meet up with you all in chat. I miss you all too much!

Thanks again for all your support.

Stace
