A Little Song That Helps

This little song helps me through so many situations.
Ironically I learned it in Catholic elementary school, the place that probably caused most of my emotional disorders!!
But honestly, it works-I think the "whistling" part forces you to exhale and therefore relax a little.
Whenever I feel afraid, I hold my head erect
And whistle a happy tune so no one will suspect,
I'm afraid.
While shivering in my shoes, I strike a careless pose
An whistle a happy tune so no one ever knows
I'm afraid.
Make believer you're brave
And the trick will take you far
You may be as brave
As you make believe you are.
Whistle a tune, whistle a tune, whistle a tune.
YOU MAY BE AS BRAVE, AS YOU MAKE BELIEVE YOU ARE!!
Let me know if this helps anybody!
Have a great week!
Fran

I think you are right!
I love the King and I!! Saw it a hundred times.
Believe this song is when Anna arrived in Persia and were getting ready to disembark from the ship.
Let me know if this is correct.
Have a beautiful, low anxiety day!!!
Fran
Do you know, my counsellor actually sang this for me just a few weeks ago. I still can't remember the tune, but it's an awesome song!
Hugs,
Chris
