Have you found that your anxiety issued have caused your period to be irregular? Since I started having problems with anxiety, my periods are extremely unpredictable. Sometimes they are on time, other times I go a couple of months with nothing at all. My anxiety is mostly under control with meds (effexor)...just wondering what your experience has been with this.

Stess, anxiety, meds, illness, weight loss or gain, any major life changes can change our cycles. Especially in sensitive women. I have always been on the sensitive side. Generally in a couple months we get back on track. If these things haven't caused irregularity in the past, then a check-up is in order, Nicole. Always better to be safe than sorry. GL! Hi Nicole, my cycles are very affected by my anxiety and even my stress level.

Hey,
well i suffer with anxiety and my periods were irregular and also affected my anxiety very badly. A lot of people told me that 'the pill' can help to regulate your periods and also help with anxiety that you may get more of before and during your period. I went to the doctor and was prescribed the Pill and now my periods are regular down to a 'T' and my anxiety around my periods has died down.
